Cinnamon Bread Pancakes
from Susan’s Bread
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1 loaf Susan’s Bread
Mix all ingredients together to make a batter like that of pancakes. Depending on how much you want to make or how thin you want the batter, you can add more milk. Start heating oil in an electric skillet. Slice a loaf of cinnamon bread into 1/2 inch slices. It is easier to do the next step if you have the batter in a flat bottomed container. Take the bread slices and dip them into the batter, making sure they are covered on both sides. After you let the slice drip off what little extra batter there may be, place it in the electric skillet and fry it up like you would a pancake. One recipe makes about six pieces. This recipe is like French toast! Our family loves it and hopes your will too!
